Coming off perhaps the best game of his career in the 2024 Preliminary Final, there was plenty of excitement around Ollie Henry heading into 2025 and he certainly fired early.
In the Cats' first match simulation of the pre-season, Henry picked up right where he left off and kicked four goals in the second half against Hawthorn.
He then carried that strong form into the start of the home and away season, impressing once again with a three-goal haul against Fremantle in Round 1.
Following that performance, Geelong announced that Henry had signed a two-year contract extension which will see him remain with the club until at least the end of 2027.
After a strong start, Henry struggled to maintain that form kicking 11 goals from 14 games and making his last AFL appearance in Round 18, before finishing the season in Geelong's VFL team.

Geelong Football Club acknowledges Wadawurrung as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Land on which our club, our families and our communities work and play. We pay our respects to Elders of the past, the present, and those that will lead their collective future. Kardinyu, in Wadawurrung language is the place of the morning sun, a place of deep cultural connection and significance, a meeting place since the beginning of time. We are honoured to walk with the Wadawurrung People, to listen, respect and talk together on our journey on Wadawurrung Country.
