Atkins continued to be a strong leader on and off the field for Geelong in 2024, prepared to do the hard work in and around stoppage situations when required. 

Averaging over 17 disposals per game, Atkins led the Cats for tackles last year while also sitting top five at the club for clearances and contested possessions. 

Recognised for his leadership off the field, Atkins was awarded the Tom Harley award for best clubman for the third straight year, sharing top honours with Tom Hawkins in 2024. 

Will continue to be an integral part of the Geelong midfield unit in 2025, entering his seventh season at the top level.
