Stewart continued to be one of the competition's most dominant defenders in 2024, but also swung into the midfield to great effect across the second half of the season. 

In round two against Adelaide, Stewart equalled the AFL's single game record taking 10 intercept marks in his 150th AFL game. 

Across the season the Cats star continued to lead both on and off the field, averaging 22 disposals while ranking in the AFL's top 10 for intercept possessions (ninth).
