Geelong forward Daniel Menzel has used his most recent weekly column to dish the dirt on his teammates’ love of reality TV and general off-field habits.
Published in Saturday’s Geelong Advertiser, Menzel ran through a list of teammates and what reality TV show they would best suit, with hilarious results.

Lachie Henderson
The biggest fan of Survivor you’ll find. To the extent that he has been on set previously while the show has been shooting.
The Bachelor:
Jake Kolodjashnij
Looks the part in a suit or budgies. Would have the girls flocking and it would be great to hear more from Kola all round, but also on his romantic ideas and share that with Australia on TV.
Gogglebox:
Joel and Scott Selwood
Would be upfront and honest, making for interesting viewing. Maybe if we’re lucky, their Geelong Travel ad would come on and they’d expose how much they had to get paid to say yes to doing that ad.
Antiques Roadshow:
Harry Taylor
A real lover of history, artefacts and what people would class as rubbish.
Tom Lonergan
Fashion has always been at the forefront of Domsy’s mind and he would have no issues leading from the front here.
Australia’s Next Top Model:
Rhys Stanley
Girlfriend is a model, knows the ins and outs of modelling and looks like a model, need I say more.
Bondi Rescue:
Jackson Thurlow and Drew Slimmon (team doctor).
Both would rightfully rate themselves on the board as well aesthetically on the show. Thurls to the rescue and Doc to save the drowners, attracting many viewers.
... and finally. If you’re wondering what show I would be on. Well I’ve been single for a while and haven’t found anyone yet, so Married at First Sight it is.
