Geelong has named a strong VFL team to play Werribee at GMHBA Stadium on Friday night.

The match will be the second of three practice matches for the Cats, following Sunday’s loss to the Bombers in Colac.

With round one of the AFL commencing next week, 11 Cats will get the opportunity to push their case for senior selection.

Headlining that list is recruit Stewart Crameri, young guns Nakia Cockatoo and Cory Gregson, and Jordan Murdoch, who was best on ground in the Cats first VFL practice match.

The match will commence at 7.30pm local time. Gates open at 7pm and entry is through the Polly Farmer Gate located on Moorabool Street.
