Cats coach Chris Scott has confirmed that Sam Menegola will be named in the 22-man team to play Collingwood at the MCG on Sunday.
Menegola missed the round five win over St Kilda after being suspended for a sling-tackle on Hawthorn's Luke Hodge the previous weekend.
“[Menegola is] still in really good shape,” Scott said at a press conference at Simonds Stadium on Friday morning.
“Obviously missing one with suspension meant he could train uninhibited, so he’ll be back in the 22.”
Menegola could end up being a straight swap for Daniel Menzel, who is being rested this weekend.
The entire 22-man team will be revealed at 5pm on Friday evening.
