Geelong's 14 wins from their last 15 matches vs Port Adelaide is their equal most from their last 15 matches against all opponents. Equal: 14 wins vs Richmond 2003-13.





Port Adelaide's sole win against Geelong in the above period  was the 5-point win at Kardinia Park in round 21 2007.

In Geelong's current run of 10 consecutive wins vs Port Adelaide starting from the 2007 Grand Final, they have averaged 122 points per match against Port's average of 70 points.

Geelong's surplus of 522 points from their last 10 matches vs Port Adelaide is their second highest from the last 10 matches against an opponent. (Highest: 638 from the last 10 matches vs Melbourne.)


Geelong's worst run of 10 matches vs Port Adelaide included a memorable win in round 14 2003 at Kardinia Park when the 15th placed Cats upset first-placed Port Adelaide, 10-10-70 vs 10.9-69. It was the Power's only loss in 16 matches and only the Cats' fourth win for the season.
