After coming away with a loss against last year’s premiers, Box Hill Hawks, the Cats VFL are determined to make amends on their home ground this Sunday against North Ballarat.

Even though the Roosters are yet to secure a win, Geelong’s VFL coach, Matthew Knights, says this week their team could look a lot healthier with the return of North Melbourne’s skipper Andrew Swallow, along with his Kangaroo teammates Taylor Garner and Cam Delaney.

“We’re going to have to play really good footy, it’s great that it’s at home again this week on Sunday at Simonds Stadium, and hopefully we can have a pretty similar line-up to what we had last week to get a bit of continuity into the team,” Knights told Cats TV.

“It’s a critical game for both us and North Ballarat considering they haven’t chalked up a win yet and they’re going to be desperate to do so.”

“For us after a loss to Box Hill it’s important that we keep our season moving and chalk up a victory.”
