After a solid performance against the Suns, Mitch Duncan has accumulated a total of 21 votes in this year’s AFLCA Champion of the Year Award vote count.

Even though the Cats couldn’t keep their paw on the Suns last Saturday night, Steven Motlop and Mitch Duncan still managed to win votes from senior coaches.

Steven Motlop, who sits on a total of six votes, received two votes for his 24 touches, nine marks (team high) and three goals, which included a magnificent crowd pleaser from the boundary.

That goal from Motlop was nominated for this year's Goal of the Year Award. Click here to watch it back and vote.

Duncan also received a vote for his leading-efforts in the middle, with a team high of 29 touches, six marks and five inside-50s.
