Will the Cats mess with a winning formula? If they do we look at those with a chance to fill their boots.

Josh Walker
A fantastic effort from Walker up in Bendigo say him finish with a ton of possession, double figure marks and four goals in a best on ground performance. Walker is putting his hand up to join a growing list of Cats talls in the AFL side.

Corey Enright
Enright was given right up until Saturday’s game before being ruled out by the fitness staff. Chris Scott said after the match Enright would be no certainty to line up this week against the Eagles but knowing the pride of the champion he will do all he can to put his hand up.

Taylor Hunt
Hunt fell victim to the AFL MRP’s strict interpretation of the no contact to the head rule. His last game saw him play the small defender role well, something the Cats may have been missing against the Pies. Although Mark LeCras will miss for the Eagles, Josh Hill may step in as the dangerous small forward.

Lincoln McCarthy
McCarthy was a late withdrawal for the Cats for team balance reasons on Saturday night. After not playing since mid-2012, McCarthy played the first two games of this year before Saturday night. A tireless worker in the forward 50, McCarthy’s role was played by George Burbury against the Magpies. Can both work in the Cats side at the same time?

Jake Kolodjashnij
Excited murmurs are beginning to occur around the Cattery about the tall backman with the confusing surname. Another terrific performance on the weekend from Kolodjashnij, a near AFL ready body and a cool head means he will be ready to come in should the Cats need him.
