Shelley Scott made an impression at both ends of the ground in her first season in the Hoops. After spending the first month in defence, following Maddy McMahon being placed on the inactive list, Scott shifted forward in Round 5 to immediate effect. Scott slotted three goals as the Cats powered to their then-highest score, and formed a potent combination with Chloe Scheer from that point onwards, finishing with 9.6 for the season, and providing the Cats with a great target up forward.
