Just a five day break for Geelong this week as they prepare for another crucial clash, set to take on Essendon at GMHBA Stadium on Friday night. 

Following a comfortable victory over the Power on Sunday, the Cats continue to entrench themselves in the top four with a very healthy percentage but they need to keep winning, with just three games remaining in the home and away season. 

The VFL Cats will also return from their bye this weekend, needing to win their final two matches in the regular season to give themselves a chance of featuring in September. 

With two exciting games on the schedule, check out everything you can expect to see on Cats channels in the build up this week. 

MONDAY

12.00pm - Turn your attention to Friday night's clash at the Cattery with 'The First Look.'

3.30pm - The AFL Coaches votes will be released for Round 21, see if Bailey Smith and Max Holmes can continue to chase down the overall leaders.

1.00pm - Cameron Ling and Meg McDonald will be back for another episode of Geelong Cats podcast, 'To the Final Bell.'

3.00pm - Get a full update on the state of play in the VFL, with the Cats Finals hopes still alive heading into the penultimate week of the home and away season. 

5.00pm - Geelong will release the weekly GMHBA Health Update, with a trio of experienced Cats a chance to return this week.

2.00pm - The Cats will celebrate Gryan Miers with a feature ahead of his 150th AFL game this weekend.

THURSDAY

12.00pm - Take a look at the strengths of Essendon's game with the Cats 'Opposition Analysis.'

3.00pm - Hear from Cats coach, Chris Scott when he fronts the media for his weekly press conference. 

6.20pm - Just over 24 hours from their Round 22 match, Geelong will name their team for Friday night's clash with the Bombers.

FRIDAY

9.00am - Heading into the game, catch up on all the details you need to know with the Cats match preview.

12.20pm - Ahead of their pivotal match on Saturday, the VFL Cats will name their side to take on the Bombers. 

7.40pm - Geelong return to action at GMHBA Stadium for the final time this year, taking on Essendon as they look to cement their spot in the top four. 

SATURDAY

10.00am - Tune back into Cats channels to catch up on all the action from Friday night with press conferences, post game interviews, the match report and highlights from the game. 

12.05pm - The VFL Cats need a win to keep their Finals hopes alive, they will do battle with Essendon at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
