Geelong has made three changes to its line-up for Saturday's elimination final against Southern Saints, including two members of its leadership group who are set to return.
Vice-captain Chloe Leonard is back after missing the Round 14 win over Collingwood, while deputy vice-captain Maddie Boyd is set to play her first game since Round 11.
Pressure forward Madisen Maguire has also been named to return to the line-up for the game at Deakin University Elite Sports Precinct, Waurn Ponds.
Going out of the side are Paige Sheppard - who was recruited by AFLW expansion side Sydney Swans - Ava McKeegan and Rene Caris.
Cats captain Bree Beckley said there was plenty of excitement amongst the Cats' VFLW cohort as they prepared for back-to-back finals series - the club's fourth VFLW finals campaign from five seasons in the competition.
"It's very exciting, we've got a different feel to the group this year ... I can't wait to see see what we can do this finals series," Beckley said.
"We have a fair few new girls who haven't been through finals before, and a few experienced girls who can hopefully help us through. It's exciting times ahead for the group, and the coaches as well.
"(Southern Saints) have always been a tough competition, so we'll go out there expecting that and hope we can get the win over them.
"We've had lots of changes throughout the year, and I think it's a credit to the group what we can do, and how far we've come since the start of the season."
The Cats have won seven of their past eight games, including their past five on the trot. Their Round 14 win over rivals Collingwood secured a home fixture for the first week of finals.
They have had to do it with rolling changes to the line-up, but players have stepped up to play their role each week, with a great number stringing together some strong form.
"There's so many (players) around the group that have just been outstanding and been putting together a really good couple of games," Beckley said.
"Definitely Mia Skinner, Paige Scott (are the players) to look out for in the forward line, and down back I think young Mia Van Dyke has been really, really handy for us and a really good inclusion."
The winner of Saturday's clash will face either Essendon or Hawthorn in the semi-finals next weekend, while the loser will be eliminated from finals.
First bounce is at 1.05pm Saturday, 11 June 2022 at Deakin University Elite Sports Precinct, Waurn Ponds.
