Shaun Grigg stepped into a full time role with the Cats coaching group in 2020.


Grigg played 214 AFL games in his career at Richmond (2011-19) and Carlton (2007-10).

He was selected by Carlton with the club's second pick and the 19th overall in the 2006 AFL National Draft.

He played 43 games for the Blues before being traded to Richmond. 

In 2012 at the Tigers he produced arguably his best season of football. He played all 22 matches that season and recorded a career best 561 disposals to finish in fifth place in the club's best & fairest award, receiving the Kevin Bartlett Medal for his efforts.

He went on to establish himself as one of Richmond's most consistent and smart footballers. Playing an important role in their 2017 premiership and was rewarded with life membership in 2018.
