The Cats’ surprise packet of 2017 has continued to impress the club into his second season at an AFL club. Was discovered by assistant coach and club legend Matthew Scarlett at South Barwon, where he played in two premierships, and slotted seamlessly into the Cats’ backline. Can play on all sizes and had a terrific year. Won the 2018 AFL Coaches Association Best Young Player of the Year Award and also received All-Australian Honours for his outstanding performance in Geelong’s backline.
