Billy Brownless will take part in this year’s FightMND Big Freeze 7.

Founded in 2014, FightMND was established with the purpose of finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

The 198-game Cats legend is thrilled to support his old friend Neale Daniher and his fundraising efforts.

“Neale and I are old Assumption College school mates,” Brownless told the Herald Sun.

“He was a few years older than me and I was probably a better scholar but if he rings, you answer. I might even wear an Assumption jumper when I go down.

“His efforts to find a cure for motor neurone disease have been sensational and it’s great how everyone gets behind it. Buying the beanies are also a great way to show support.”

Brownless is yet to decide on a costume for the occasion.

“It’s got to the stage where you’ve got to have a good outfit or you’re out of place,” Brownless said.

“I’ve got a couple of ideas I’m working on, just not sure if less is best.

“The best one was Nick Riewoldt (as Freddie Mercury) so he’s going to be hard to top.

“We’ve seen the last six Big Freeze slides and they’ve been great, and you do watch it and think you can do that.”
