The Cats were able to return an act of kindness and welcome a group from Diversitat to the Round 10 AFL game between Geelong and Gold Coast.

Through Diversitat, Afghan women had welcomed representatives from the club to share in an Iftar dinner, and celebrate breaking the fast together during Ramadan.

Among those in attendance at the dinner were AFL player Esava Ratugolea and AFLW player Georgie Rankin.

Thanks to Ford Australia, the Cats were able to in turn invite the women and Diversitat staff to the Round 10 match at GMHBA.

Volunteers from South West SES Unit joined the Cats at the game.

The game followed on from Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW), a day to say thanks to SES volunteers for the hard work they do.

In the spirit of the day and during National Volunteer Week, the Cats were able to show their thanks by inviting members of the South West SES Unit by offering them tickets to the game, thanks to Ford Australia.
