Jordan Clark in action against Fremantle.

Jordan Clark is set to remain a Cat in 2021.

After playing 18 games in his rookie season, a combination of form and bad luck with injuries saw Clark feature in just three AFL games this year.

The lack of games has seen Clark linked with a potential departure within the media, however, Geelong Recruiting and List Manager Stephen Wells says the club is 'committed' to Jordan when speaking to AFL Trade Radio on Thursday.

"From a games-played year, it was very disappointing that Jordan wasn't able to play more, but he's committed to Geelong and we're committed to him," Wells said.

"He still has another couple of years on his contract to go, but we're looking forward to Jordan being one of those many young players that help our team improve over the next couple of years."

“He has loved his time at Geelong and is committed to forcing his way into the team next year and I am sure that the coaches will give him every opportunity to do that."
