The Bendigo Banks Cats will travel to Avalon Airport Oval this Sunday to take on North Melbourne in a must-win match for both sides.

Geelong’s VFL outfit have registered one victory from their four matches played so far, a three-point point victory on the road against Werribee in round three.

The Cats will be strengthened by the return of AFL senior listed players Jed Bews and Lachie Fogarty from injury.

Both men will be playing their first matches of the season and will be looking to build their match fitness and push their case for AFL selection in the coming weeks.

Wylie Buzza is another massive inclusion for the Cats after recovering from a shoulder complaint.

With Geelong’s AFL side in red-hot form sitting atop the ladder, this match will provide another opportunity for a host of Cats to push their claims for selection.

Sunday’s match against the Kangaroos will kick-off at 2.30pm.
