The Bendigo Bank Cats have been boosted by the return of Cam Guthrie for their round two clash against the Northern Blues at GMHBA Stadium on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.

Guthrie has been named to start in the middle after overcoming a calf injury that kept him sidelined for the start of the season.

Fellow AFL-listed Cat, Ben Jarvis will play his first match in the hoops. Taken with the 48th selection in the 2018 National Draft, Jarvis is an aggressive forward who presents well on the lead with his speed and strong hands, complementing his good recovery skills and agility.

Aaron Black is another big inclusion and will booster an expereienced backline which conceded 27 scoring shots against Richmond in round one.

Black will co-captain the team for the first time alongside James Tsitas.

Jackson McLachlan, Luke Smith and James Gow are the other inclusions.

Jordan Cunico (ankle) and Dan Capiron are the only outs at this stage.

Geelong will be looking to register their first win of the season against the Blues. The match will be broadcast live via gofooty.live
