The Cats and Magpies played out a draw last time they met in round two

This Sunday the Cats will take on Collingwood for a place in the 2018 VFLW Grand Final.

Their preliminary final match kicks off at 11.45am and we encourage all Geelong fans to travel up the highway to Port Melbourne to support the team.

In their first ever final last weekend, the Cats were tested early by the highly fancied NT Thunder, but showed plenty of spirit to fight-back and secure a place in the second week of finals.

This week’s opponent presents another huge test for Geelong after the Magpies finished the home and away season on top of the ladder.

The two sides played out a draw in round two and fans can expect another great contest once again.

The winner of the preliminary final will progress through to the Grand Final against Hawthorn to be played at Etihad Stadium on Sunday 23 September.

If you cannot make it to Stannards Stadium, you can watch a live stream via the VFL website.
