Mitch Duncan has been awarded the maximum possible votes from the coaches after he was a unanimous choice for best on ground against the Swans.

Both Chris Scott and John Longmire gave Duncan the maximum five votes at their disposal, after his 32-disposal effort for the Cats.

Tim Kelly secured eight votes for his 21 touches and two crucial goals, while Joel Selwood’s 28 disposals and five tackles saw him gain five votes from the men in the coaches’ boxes.

Tom Stewart was the final Cat to poll, taking three votes with him back to Geelong while Swan Aliir Aliir was the only Sydney player to feature, polling four votes.

Demon Max Gawn is the new leader of the award after round 16, while no Cats feature in the top 20 on the leaderboard.
