Veteran Steve Johnson delivered a little bit of magic in the Cats loss to West Coast on Sunday.

The dynamic forward-turned-midfielder has received a Round 9 nomination for Coates Hire Goal of the Year for a brilliant left foot snap from the pocket in the first quarter.

The goal was the first of the match, giving berth to the Cats’ early lead before eventually going down by 56-points.
