Geelong return home for their final game of the 2024 home and away season, taking on Kuwarna (Adelaide) tonight under the lights at GMHBA Stadium.

The scenario is an intriguing one heading towards the AFLW Finals series, with Geelong needing a win tonight to keep their Finals aspirations alive.

If the Cats can defeat the Crows they will then rely on the other results falling their way, needing Naarm (Melbourne) and Essendon to lose their last game.

The challenge ahead is another tough one for the Cats, taking on Kuwarna (Adelaide) who currently sit in the top four with one game remaining.

Last Time We Met

Geelong last faced Adelaide in 2022 (Season 7), a nail-biting contest that saw the Cats fall by two-points at Thomas Farms Oval.

Nothing separated the two teams for much of the day, but Geelong could not find a match winning goal late in the quarter.

Georgie Prespakis (23 disposals, seven clearances) and Amy McDonald (23 disposals, seven clearances) were both superb, while Chantel Emonson (19 disposals) had a big impact off half back.
