Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield was back to his destructive best on Saturday night against the Western Bulldogs and was rewarded with a perfect 10 votes from the coaches.

It was Dangerfield’s second 10 vote performance of the season after his demolition of the Bombers in Round 1.

After an injury interrupted season, Dangerfield reminded the competition what he was capable of on the weekend, almost single-handedly swinging the game in Geelong’s favour in the third term and finishing the game with an imposing stat line of 26 disposals, 10 contested possessions, seven clearances and a goal from only 63 per cent game time.

Defender Sam De Koning was awarded with four votes for his blanketing of Bulldog spearhead Aaron Naughton, while Cam Guthrie, Mark Blicavs, Isaac Smith and Brad Close round out the Geelong players who caught the coaches eyes.

With four perfect 10 performances so far this season, Jeremy Cameron reminds the highest placed Cat on the AFLCA leaderboard with 67 votes.
