GEELONG has made four team changes ahead of its Round 2 clash with Carlton at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday night.

Gabbi Featherston will play her first AFLW game after she was selected with pick 9 in the 2021 NAB AFLW Draft.

The Geelong Falcons graduate has plenty of X-factor and represented Vic Country at the national championships prior to joining the Cats.

Danielle Higgins, Darcy Moloney and Laura Gardiner come in for their first games of 2022 after missing Geelong’s Round 1 loss to North Melbourne.

This weekend’s clash with Carlton will also see emerging star Georgie Prespakis line-up against her sister, Carlton midfielder Maddy, for the first time in what is being dubbed the ‘Prespakis Cup’.

In further exciting news Maddy Keryk will play her 25th game for Geelong and Jordan Ivey will play her 25th AFLW match.

Nina Morrison, Julia Crockett-Grills, Sophie van De Heuvel, and Georgie Rankin will all miss because of AFL Health and Safety protocols.

Ahead of the 7.10pm start, there will be a Summer Footy Festival located on the interactive lawn outside of GMHBA Stadium from 5pm.

The FREE event will feature live music and entertainment, food trucks, giveaways and much more.
