Diana Taylor AM is a proud product of Geelong and was part of the early graduate years of the Deakin University Law School.

After completing her law degree, Diana successfully worked as a workplace relations and corporate lawyer at top tier law firms and for some of Australia's largest businesses.

During this time, Diana also became the first female president of the Western Region Football League, the first woman appointed to the VFL Tribunal and she chaired AFL Victoria's leading club diversity program with VicHealth, the Fair Game - Respect Matters Program. Diana was recognised in 2024 by the Australian Government with a Member of the Order of Australia award for her significant service to Australian rules football, and to the community of Geelong.

Diana runs her own business in Geelong, Diana Taylor Legal Consulting, and in 2016, was awarded the Telstra Business Woman of the Year Award for Victoria (corporate & private).

Diana is also the chair of the Geelong Authority and Anam Cara House Geelong (Geelong’s community palliative care centre). Diana is also a board member of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Trust, AFLW Competition Committee, the Deakin Law School Advisory Board and the Public Skills Australia Board.
