To be employed by the Geelong Cats applicants must be Australian citizens or have permanent residency status pending the granting of Australian citizenship.

The details you provide to us when applying for this position are covered by the provisions of the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988. In submitting an application, you authorise the Geelong Cats to use the information you have provided in the selection process for this position.

A range of selection activities may be undertaken to assess suitability including application, interview, referees, qualifications checking and other assessment.

1. Application (How to apply)
If you are interested in applying for any of the current vacancies listed on this site, please read the position description. Selection will be based on assessment against the specified selection criteria.
What you need to do:

Obtain the position description
Update your curriculum vitae (CV) or resume
Write a covering letter briefly (no more than 2 pages) addressing the selection criteria .
Complete a personal details form
Submit your application

Your full application must be received by close of business on the specified closing date. Late applications may not be accepted.

2. Advising applicants of the outcome
After you have submitted your application you will receive an email advising you that your application has been received. Only applicants shortlisted for an interview or the next step in the selection process will be contacted again. All applicants that have been interviewed will be advised of the selection process outcome by telephone.

3. Interviews
You will be contacted if we would like to interview you. A minimum of two days notice for an interview will generally be provided to applicants.

4. Referees
Please provide the name, location and day time contact telephone numbers of two referees, preferably your present and former supervisors. Your referees may be contacted at any time during the selection process, but are usually only contacted if you are considered to be in serious contention for the position. The Selection Panel may also request that written referee reports addressing the selection criteria be brought along to the interview.

5. Qualifications
Some positions may require applicants to provide evidence of formal qualifications (eg CPA, RSA). Copies of transcripts of academic results and certificates should be provided to the selection panel at interview.
