Outlook
The star forward showed great resilience and courage to turn out on Grand Final day after wrenching his knee in the preliminary final. It became one of the stories of Geelong’s premiership success as Johnson did everything he could to take the field and perform at his usual high level. He kicked four goals in a performance that will be part of Grand Final folklore. It took his tally for the season to 50 goals after spending time rotating through the midfield.
