Outlook
It was a tough season for the smart on-baller who was given time off in the first half of the year to deal with personal issues. Returned to the VFL line-up and broke through to play one game at AFL level, but was squeezed out as Geelong’s finals preparation stepped up. Has been in the system a few years and will be looking for more opportunities in the midfield.

2009
  • Broke through to make debut in his 3rd season
  • Played 10 AFL games including qualifying final win over Dogs
  • Was emergency for grand final win over St Kilda
  • Made debut in rd 2 against Richmond
  • Had five games of 20+ disposals
  • Kicked two goals twice (v Melb rd 16, v Freo rd 22)
  • Career best 27 disposals came in rd 22 vs. Freo
  • Was outstanding in rd 14 vs StK, with 20 disposals and four tackles
  • Also played all NAB Cup games including GF win over Collingwood
  • Finished runner up in Cats VFL best & fairest despite playing only seven games
