Outlook
Looked to be the Cats’ next big thing during the middle part of the 2011 season, but a hip injury ended his finals dream in round 21. The tall, versatile and athletic youngster caught the eye with his work in the ruck and in attack and looks to have the world at his feet. Providing he makes a full recovery, Vardy will continue to develop, particularly when he is up forward, where his marking ability and athleticism could stretch opposition defences.
