Outlook
The champion defender was at his supreme best last year, becoming a triple premiership player and a six-time All-Australian. One of the best defensive playmakers in the AFL, Scarlett’s reading of the play and judgment are still superb. Opposition sides tried at times to nullify his influence, but he rose to every challenge and has decided to go on for another season and perhaps finish with back-to-back premierships.
