The Past Players & Officials Association was founded in 1933 by the Geelong Football Club and a group of former players.
The first president was J Galbraith and is currently lead by their 11th President Brian Brushfield. The Past Players & Officials Association is now operating in its 77th year providing a vehicle for former players to play a part with their beloved Cats when their playing days are finished.The Association's rooms are situated behind the Doug Wade Stand at Simonds Stadium, entry from Park Crescent Geelong.
Objectives of the Association:
- To foster and maintain good fellowship and companionship for former players and officials
- To keep alive the traditional spirit of the Cats
- To raise money for worthy causes at the Geelong Football Club

Past Players Association Clearance Sale
The clearance sale is predominantly goods and chattels used in our everyday usage of club facilities. This includes bar equipment, TV sets, lectern and microphone, carpet, security roller doors, exit signage ,beer glasses, pie warmers, fridges etc. The only memorabilia to be auctioned are 9 WEG posters of premiership years, some of which are signed. The sale is scheduled for Sunday Aug 28 at 11.30 am in the clubrooms. Viewing 1 hour prior to sale. Bob Gartland is the auctioneer.
