Ahead of Round 10 Cats TV discuss Friday night’s home clash against North Melbourne with Scott Gullan and former Roos player Hamish McIntosh.

After a disappointing run last Saturday, McIntosh says the Cats are determined to make amends in the areas that hindered them against the Dockers. The main area that called for attention this week was contested possessions.

“We’ve got to start in the middle, the contested footy and clearances sort of work, it’s something we have been down on in the last couple of weeks, especially on the weekend,” McIntosh told Cats TV.

To ensure the Cats secure a seventh win for the season, Gullan says the Cats must inject a solid performance from start to finish.

“North are one of those teams that have started slowly but they’re a legitimate top six type team, you’ve got to get on top of them in the whole rundown,” Gullan said.

“They need a good four quarters performance.”
