The extra tickets became available after Friday morning’s release.
The club will hold a further 900 tickets over until gate opening tomorrow evening.
Fans are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets to avoid disappointment.
Those fans arriving by 6.30pm will be able to watch the Cats exclusive pre-game show Home Ground Advantage presented by Carlton Draught. Jimmy Bartel and Steve Johnson will be interviewed from the changerooms whilst the panel of Adam McNicol, Peter Hanlon and Daniel Menzel will provide all the insight and analysis of the big game.
