The Geelong Cats have informed Taylor Hunt, Mitch Brown and Joel Hamling they will not be offered contracts for the 2015 season and the trio will become unrestricted free agents.

Taken at pick 49 in the 2008 national draft, Taylor Hunt played 63 games for the Cats since his debut in 2010.

In his time at the club, 24-year-old Hunt played in two finals and kicked 19 goals.

Mitch Brown departs Geelong having played 15 AFL games in the blue and white since being selected at pick 15 in the 2008 national draft.

A member of the 2012 VFL premiership side, Brown played 63 games and booted 98 goals for the VFL Cats over his six seasons at the club.

Drafted from Broome, Western Australia, Joel Hamling was selected at pick 32 in the 2011 national draft.

Hamling leaves the club after 42 VFL games, as well as third place in this season’s VFL best and fairest.

Geelong football manager Neil Balme wished Taylor, Mitch and Joel all the best as they move on from Geelong.
