Corey Enright has been named a finalist for the 2015 Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award.

Enright has been shortlisted as a finalist along with Carlton’s Dennis Armfield and Fremantle’s Chris Mayne.

Enright has been a leader of the Geelong Cats for many years, helping to establish the club’s Cyber Cats program, which aims to address the issue of online safety with young people.

In July 2009, a Geelong Cats cheersquad member tragically took her own life due to being cyber bullied.

Enright has since been an instrumental part of the Cyber Cats program, initially seeking a sponsor to support its development.

The program is now offered to all secondary schools in the Geelong region with Enright playing a key role in the program’s delivery.

Enright and his wife Renee are also ambassadors for the Camp Quality Geelong Convoy.

The Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award will be presented at the 2015 Brownlow Medal Ceremony on Monday 28th September.

The winner will receive $20,000 from the AFL to be donated to the charity or community program of their choice.
