Brandan Parfitt has escaped suspension for his tackle on Jayden Short during Friday night's game at the MCG.
Parfitt has accepted a $2000 fine after he was charged with engaging in rough conduct against Short.
The incident was reviewed by the match review officer and was assessed as careless conduct with low impact to the head.
Parfitt won a free kick at the time of the incident as Short was penalised for holding the ball, however the Tiger's head hit the ground in the tackle.
