1. Rhys Stanley
Rhys was an amazing addition to the team in 2015. Our midfield was at its best when he was in the ruck and then joining in with the game when the ball hit the ground. Unfortunately he suffered a season ending injury when he was really starting to dominate games. We are really excited about Rhys returning to football in the near future.

2. Billie Smedts
Billie had a really good pre season and showed a willingness and desperation to cement his place in the AFL team. Unfortunately Bill suffered an injury and missed a large piece season that curtailed his progress. The 2016 pre season will further develop Bill and give him the necessary attributes to make a position in the AFL team his own.

3. Jimmy Bartel
Jimmy had a really good pre-season in 2015, and to get hurt and miss so much football was really disappointing, for him and the team. On returning Jimmy reminded the football world how good a player he is, and we will need Jim displaying this class next year. We look forward to a full season from Jim next year.

4. Andrew Mackie
Another player to have a frustrating year missing 6 matches due to injury at the start of the season. Mack is at his best in big games and it was there for all to see in round 23 when he was best on ground supporting his 3 retiring mates. We look forward to Mack bringing that form into next season.

5. Nakia Cockatoo
An extremely talented player who played some early games in the AFL and did some very exciting things. As a lot of young players do, he lacked a bit of consistency and went back to the VFL to work on his game. He came back into the AFL for the last few games of the season and showed that power and ability to excite.

6. Lincoln McCarthy
Linc has had a frustrating time with his foot injury. Linc has been patient and is determined to overcome this issue, resume his AFL career and bring that hardness and skill that we have only had a glimpse of so far.

7. Harry Taylor
Harry played some tremendous games during 2015 and continued to help lead the boys from the backline. Due to Harry’s dominance, opposition teams are now dragging him out of the game to negate his influence. This is a new challenge for Harry and one that he will be working hard on over the pre season.

8. Jake Kolodjashnij
Jake has had to bide his time in the VFL until a position became available in the AFL team. However, when he got his chance Jake grabbed it with both hands. Jake’s performances once in the team were fantastic for such an inexperienced player and we look forward to further improvement in 2016.

9. James Kelly
A tremendous career culminating in the last game of 2015. A fierce warrior who always put the team first. We congratulate Kel on a wonderful career and thank him for all of the hard work and the special memories.

10. Daniel Menzel
What an inspiration. 1500-odd days between games and to play like he did. It has been an amazing journey and the future looks exciting for Menz. Look out 2016.
