1. Round 19, 2006 versus St Kilda at Etihad Stadium
The Cats lost the game by 23 points, but Mackie won plenty of admirers with a impressive display. He finished with 25 disposals and two goals and was later rewarded with the first Brownlow Medal vote of his career.

2. Round 6, 2007 versus Richmond at Etihad Stadium
Mackie led the way in the game that turned Geelong’s fortunes around. He amassed 23 disposals and kicked a career-high four goals as the Cats won by a whopping 157 points. His effort earned him one vote in the Brownlow Medal.

3. Round 19, 2008 versus Melbourne at the MCG
A day after his 24th birthday, Mackie produced a dazzling performance as the Cats ran riot on a Friday night at the ’G, winning by 116 points. He finished with 33 disposals and two goals and later received three Brownlow Medal votes for his effort.

4. Round 17, 2012 versus Essendon at Etihad Stadium
This was another performance that yielded Mackie three votes in the Brownlow Medal. He provided the Cats with plenty of attacking drive in their 67-point win over the Bombers. Mackie finished the game with 24 disposals, 10 marks, eight inside-50s, a goal and 120 AFL Fantasy points.

5. Round 23, 2015 versus Adelaide at Simonds Stadium
On the day that the Cats farewelled Steve Johnson, James Kelly and Mathew Stokes, it was Mackie who wound back the clock with a virtuoso display. Playing as a rebounding half-back, he finished with an equal-career-high 34 disposals and also snagged a goal as Geelong won by 39 points. He later received three votes in the Brownlow Medal for his effort.
