The Geelong Cats will debut their new short-sleeved, pre-season guernsey when they take on Hawthorn in this Friday night’s first JLT Community Series match in Launceston.
The pre-season guernsey will be worn in all three of the Cats’ pre-season matches in Tasmania, Adelaide and Bendigo over the next month.
The pre-season guernsey designs are produced by the Cats’ apparel partner COAR (Cotton On Active Range). The Cotton On Group are the first fashion retailer to partner with an AFL club, and the pre-season guernsey offers players a range of high-performing functions such as moisture management and odour control.
"We're all pretty proud to be putting them on," Harry Taylor told the media earlier today.
"There will be some guys putting it [the pre-season guernsey] on for the first time for the Cats on Friday night, which will be very exciting for them and their families."
The 2017 COAR pre-season guernseys are available to purchase from The Cats Shop in-store or online.
