Geelong is closing is on a pre-season return.

Training return: After their elimination finals exit, the Cats' first-to-fourth year players are due back at the club on Monday November 12. The full group resumes training on Monday November 26. 

Injury list: Defender Jed Bews was the only player to undergo post-season surgery. The backman had an operation on his shoulder and will be eased into pre-season training once the players resume.

Draft picks: 12, 50, 51, 70, 87

Major off-field moves: The Cats are yet to announce any off-field changes and the coaches will remain the same as last season.

And another thing ... Young forward Esava Ratugolea is back training at the club after an injury-interrupted 2018 to give himself the best opportunity to prepare for next season.
