Superstar Gary Ablett Jnr has claimed a new crown in his outstanding career, when he collected 30 disposals against the Bulldogs.

Ablett Jnr now holds the record for the most 30+ disposal games in VFL/AFL history with 122 games of 30 or more disposals, overtaking former Hawk/Eagle Sam Mitchell.

This means that over Ablett Jnr’s career, he has had 30+ disposals in 39.1% of his games, which is currently the second-best ratio of the current top 20. Hawk Tom Mitchell has had 30+ disposals in 46.5% of his games over his short career.

His highest disposal tally is 53, which he collected back in 2012 against Collingwood. His highest tally for Geelong is 46 disposals, which he collected back in his first Brownlow year in 2009 against Adelaide. He also kicked three goals in that match.
