Cats midfielder Sam Menegola has been nominated for the round 10 Coates Hire Goal of the Year for his off-balance running checkside from deep in the pocket in the final quarter against Carlton.

Menegola has been hitting the scoreboard with regularity this season, booting 11 goals in 10 games from the midfield.
