We take a look at which Cats are in the selection mix for our round 10 match against Carlton at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.

Scott Selwood
The tough midfielder would be a near certainty to come back into the side after the midfield struggled against Essendon. The hard nut will add another level of contested play and can be used in a defensive midfield role if necessary.

Rhys Stanley (13 disposals, four goals)
A chance to make a return to help support Zac Smith in the ruck, but also to add some firepower up forward after a four-goal effort in the VFL on Saturday.

Esava Ratugolea
The big hulking key forward has impressed in his opening seven games and was managed last week. Should be back for the big clash against Carlton.

Lachie Fogarty
The young forward has been rested the last two weeks and wouldn’t be far off making a return to the senior side. Adds another dimension to the forward line with his pressure and goal sense.

Jamaine Jones (18 disposals, two goals)
The second year small forward has been building some nice form in the VFL at the start of this year. Another two goals in the narrow loss to Essendon and a debut isn’t too far away.

Ryan Abbott (18 disposals, 23 hit-outs)
Won the ruck battle against Bomber Matthew Leuenberger on the weekend. Has consistently been the Cats best in the VFL and could be considered to make his debut against the Blues.

Brandan Parfitt
A slight chance to return if he can get over his foot problems. His speed and ball use has been sorely missed.
