A new look Cats line-up will run out on Sunday against Melbourne on Sunday.

The Cats named a 26-man squad on Thursday night headlined by new recruit Gary Ablett Jnr as well as four potential debutants in Tim Kelly, Charlie Constable, Esava Ratugolea and Lachie Fogarty.

Comeback kid Cory Gregson has also been named for what be his first AFL game in nearly two years.

Patrick Dangerfield has not been named in the squad after injuring his hamstring against Essendon in the Cats final JLT game. 

The match is captain Joel Selwood’s 250th game and he’ll become the third fastest player to reach the milestone.

The Cats will trim their squad to 22 and four emergencies on Friday afternoon.
