The Geelong Cats and Simonds will continue as partners with Simonds taking over the club’s ball sponsorship for the 2018 season.

Geelong’s home ground had carried the Simonds name for the past six seasons, and now the home building icon has taken over sponsorship of the ball, and will again be visible throughout the AFL season.

The arrangement will see Simonds emblazoned on the match day ball used for Geelong AFL home games and also all balls for all AFL training sessions.

“Simonds homes and the Simonds family have been outstanding supporters of the club for over a decade,” Geelong Cats’ CEO Brian Cook said.

“The partnership between the club and Simonds has taken various forms over the years and we are delighted that this relationship will continue into 2018. The values of the Cats and Simonds are closely aligned and we are looking forward to many more years as partners.”

Interim CEO & Group Managing Director Rhett Simonds says the organisation is excited by the next chapter of the long-term partnership.
