What is important to our members? Our actions for 2018
Cats membership offering

We are prioritising the affordability of membership in 2018.

We will be relaunching our “Committed Cats” program in 2018 – a program that allows Members to spread their payment over the year to make being a Cats Member more affordable.

We are also keen for our Reserved Seat Members to make the most of our seat-return program. We understand that it’s difficult to get to all games, and we acknowledge the importance of all of our members getting value-for-money from their memberships.

Member packs

In 2018, Cats members will be able to choose whether they want a cap or scarf in their member pack.

Also, the Cats blanket will be available for purchase in 2018.

Fixture

  • More games in Geelong
  • A better spread of home game timeslots
  • Less home games at Etihad Stadium

Significant amount of time has been invested in liaising with the AFL to achieve 9 games at GMHBA Stadium in 2018 with a great spread of timeslots

(Fri Night x 1, Saturday arvo x 4, Saturday night x 2, Sunday arvo x 1, Sunday twilight x 1, Easter Monday).

We are also really proud to bring fresh opposition to GMHBA Stadium – Carlton have not played in Geelong since 1997.

Throughout our discussions with the AFL, we stressed how Cats fans don’t feel at home at Etihad Stadium – we are happy to report that the Cays won’t play any home games at this venue in 2018.

The experience at GMHBA Stadium
