1. Tom Hawkins versus Fremantle in round one
Hawkins was hard up against the boundary line late in the first quarter of the Cats' home and away season opener when he sent a left-foot dribbler towards goal. It bounced in the goalsquare then curled through.

2. Nakia Cockatoo versus Fremantle in round one
Cocky's three-bounce run and banana-kick goal was in the last quarter of the win over the Dockers was undoubledtly one of the highlights of the season.

3. Daniel Menzel versus Hawthorn in round four
Menzel was on fire during the early rounds of the season and his soccer-style goal during the second quarter of the Cats' 86-point win over the Hawks was a sublime piece of skill.

4. Patrick Dangerfield versus the Western Bulldogs in round nine
Danger brought the house down with his left-foot bomb from near the boundary line during the first quarter of the win over the Bulldogs.

5. Patrick Dangerfield versus Port Adelaide in round 10
Danger won the game for the Cats with a brilliant gather and left-foot snap, which had the fans dancing in the aisles.
