Tom Hawkins has received the maximum votes in the AFL Coaches' Association Champion Player of the Year award after his dominant performance in Saturday night's 65-point win over Carlton.

Geelong players took home all the votes, with Mitch Duncan, Jordan Murdoch, Patrick Dangerfield, Sam Menegola, Joel Selwood and Zac Smith also featuring among the vote-getters.

Dangerfield remains in second place on the leaderboard, seven votes behind Richmond's Dustin Martin.
